Psychiatrists Warn Livestreamed Execution of Fort Hood Killer Could Cause PTSD in Viewers
Mental health experts have warned that livestreaming the upcoming execution of former army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan could cause post-traumatic stress disorder and lasting trauma in members of the viewing public. US defense secretary Pete Hegseth announced that Hasan, who killed 13 people at Fort Hood in 2009, will be executed by firing squad on December 3, with officials confirming the event will be broadcast publicly.
